Marlins celebrate winning the Dawson Valley

Moura
Amateur Swimming Club Inc (Moura Marlins) has been in existence since November
1973.
In 1998, a new 8 lane 50m Olympic Swimming Pool was constructed to
compliment the existing five lane 25 metre pool.
The complex is known as the Moura Miners' Memorial Swimming Pool.
Today, Moura Marlins has a membership of 128. Club
night is held weekly on Monday nights at 6 p.m. throughout the summer season.
All swimmers of all levels of ability are encouraged to swim the
distances from 12.5 metres to 200 metres.
It is the belief of the Club that all swimmers can improve.
Club meetings are held monthly on the first Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Club hosts an Open Sprint Meet in October annually and the Club Closed
Carnival in March/April prior to Easter.
Swimming coaching and training is conducted by lessee and club coach Gai
Horrigan.
